LocalHero.ai's mission is to make shipping global products as fast as shipping in one language only.

Working as a developer for many years, I've spent many hours building internationalized products. The pattern is often the same, releases delayed waiting for translations, features ready to deploy but can't ship because five languages are missing. Teams create #translations Slack channels where people ask for help. Quality drifts. Releases get split into one language first, then international weeks later. End users report bugs about missing translations or text in the wrong language.

The traditional solutions have their limits:

- In-house ad-hoc works until it doesn't. Then it's coordination chaos.
- Translation agencies deliver quality but kill velocity. 1-2 week turnaround means batching releases or shipping incomplete. Usually missing context.
- Raw LLM APIs are cheap per word but you're building and maintaining the entire workflow yourself. Consistency breaks. Context gets lost. You're spending time on prompt engineering instead of product.

LocalHero.ai lets you skip the coordination overhead. Push code with new translation keys. The AI agent translates them automatically in your PR. Review and merge. Done.

Our first customer ships in 9 languages. I hadn't even finished onboarding them. Mentioned we were adding LocalHero.ai in a Monday meeting. Got Slack feedback next day, one of their teams had set it up themselves to ship a feature. Didn't wait for the official rollout.
